Weeping Cypress Mango

$1,750.00

A tree planted beside streams of water, yielding its fruit in season — this piece began as a prayer for my son, drawn from Psalm 1. The tree itself is imagined, a quiet blending of three trees I love: the cypress, rooted deep in water; the weeping willow, whose cascading branches have always moved something in me; and the mango, for the fruit the psalm speaks of — the same mango tree that grows in my neighbor's yard, its fruit tasting like a South Florida peach. The water below is drawn from my own kayaking trips through the crystal-clear springs of Central Florida, a place that has always felt like prayer itself.

This piece is part of my Quiet Vision Series — where I bring to life the sacred imagery that arises during prayer, as shared with me by those I'm honored to paint for. Each one is a deeply personal connection to place — the landscape of the soul.

[PRODUCT DETAILS]

24×36 acrylic on stretched canvas, 0.75" profile, sealed with two coats of archival varnish. The artwork is gallery-wrapped with the image continuing around the sides—ready to hang unframed, or add your own frame if you prefer a more traditional look.

Signed on the front and includes a certificate of authenticity.

[SIZE GUIDE]

At 24×36", this piece is substantial enough to serve as a true focal point — ideal above a sofa, mantel, or dining room console where it has room to breathe. If you're picturing it in your space, a good rule of thumb is roughly two-thirds the width of the furniture beneath it, so this size pairs well with a sofa or console in the 6-8 foot range.

Favorite Sizing Tip: Before ordering, outline your preferred size with painter's tape on your wall to get a feel for scale before you commit.
